Mazda, first known as Toyo Cork Kogyo Co., Ltd first came into existence in 1920 by it's founder Jujiro Matsuda. The company began manufacturing machine tools, then eventually trucks and other automobiles. The company changed its name to Mazda, which stands for Ahurza Mazda, an early Western-Asian god, according to the Mazda website. Mazda is a company that continues to grow and offer competitively priced and functional vehicles. Right now, there are several different Mazda models to fit the needs of almost any consumer.

2011 Mazda2

    The 2011 Mazda2 is an economy-based vehicle with a base price at $14,180 at the time of publication. The Mazda2 comes with a quick fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine with either a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is very spacious, seats up to five adults and has additional room for extra storage. Safety features include advanced airbags, side airbags and dynamic stability control. Additional features include standard air-conditioning, power mirrors, doors, locks, windows and remote keyless entry.

2011 Mazda3

    The Mazda3 four-door is a sedan model that comes in a variation of several different models. The base starting price is $15,800, at the time of publication for the I-SV model and up to $22,510 for the S Grand Touring model. The Mazda3 has two different engine options; the base engine is four-cylinder 148 horsepower, while the higher end models are four-cylinder 167 horsepower. Several high-end features are available in the Mazda3 such as dual-zone climate control, heated seats, Bose Audio, Bluetooth phone and audio, navigation, keyless entry and start. The Mazda 3 also comes with a five-door model, which starts at $20,045 and offers a different design. It looks similar to a mix between a car and SUV.

2011 Mazda Speed3

    The Mazda Speed3 doesn't get its name for being a slow vehicle. It offers a 263 horsepower engine with 280 foot-pounds of torque. Coming in at a starting price of $23,700, at the time of publication, the Mazda Speed3 is sure to appease adrenaline seekers. Several unique external features include hood scoop, rear spoiler, lightweight aluminum-alloy wheels and performance Y-speed tires. Other features include dual climate control, Bluetooth phone and audio, Bose Audio and compact navigation system.

2011 Mazda5

    The Mazda5 is a mini-van. It seats up to six passengers and offers a nimble, but spacious experience. The starting price for the Mazda5 is $19,195 and ranges up to $23,975 for the Grand Touring addition at the time of publication. The engine offers 157 horsepower and either six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. The Mazda5 has up to 44.4 cubic feet of cargo space with the back-row seats folded down. Standard features are available such as leather seats, heated seats, air-conditioning and Bluetooth capabilities.

2011 Mazda6

    The Mazda6 is a high-end sports sedan ranging in price from $19,990 to $29,320, at the time of publication. Two engine models are available; the first engine is 170 horsepower 2.5 liter and the second engine is 272 horsepower, 3.7 liter. Not only is the Mazda6 a high performer, but it also offers many high-end luxury features; such as keyless entry and start, back-up camera and navigation system with a 7-inch touch screen.
