The 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT was a sporty compact coupe. In some markets, it was simply the Hyundai Coupe, but in North America and Australia it was the Tiburon. Hyundai Motor Company manufactured the Tiburon from 1996 to 2009.

Engine

    The 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT featured a 2.7-liter V-6 engine with a 10.0:1 compression ratio to wield 172 horsepower and 181 foot-pounds of torque. A multi-point fuel injection system fed the gasoline to the engine. It obtained 20 mpg in city driving and 26 mpg on the highway.

Size

    The Tiburon GT measured 173 inches long, 52.3 inches tall and 69.3 inches wide. The wheelbase measured 99.6 inches. The car weighed 3,041 lbs. It also featured 14.7 cubic feet of cargo space.

Brakes and Suspension

    Four disc brakes provide the stopping power. The front end was cushioned by a strut independent suspension system, while the rear featured a coil-springed multi-link rear suspension and stabilizer bar.

Features

    Standard equipment included cruise control, front driver and passenger air bags, three-point seat belts for the front seats, power door locks and power steering.
